300 Hour Club

The Lake City Basketball 300 Hour Club is a chance for players to set off-season goals for themselves and keep track of all basketball related activities they do throughout the summer. The goal is to reach 300 hours from the end of one basketball season
to the beginning of another season. The players also get hours for playing in fall or spring sports, being on the honor roll, using the wieghtroom, or attending a Sunday service. The goal is to develop basketball players, but also develop all-around student athletes with character and integrity.
It is not easy to reach 300 hours and all that do receive a 300 Hour Club T-Shirt listing the names of the players that earned the honor. In 2002 we had eleven players in grades 8-12 earn 300 hours or more. They were: Ted Stam (536), Darrell Morales (576), Brady Balow (405), Riley Koller (380), Alex Borgschatz (367), Dan Steffenhagen (360), Nolan Krause (352), Quinn Sweeney (343) Calin Koller (343), Ben Borgschatz (324), and Nick Tackmann (319).
